Can women get too muscular from weight training??

The big concern and misconception I've heard from women over the years is they're afraid of lifting weights because they don’t want to get too muscular, or too big. The short truthful answer is that it's virtually impossible. I even had one lady tell me she had to stop her fitness training program with her former trainer after 3 months because her back got so muscular that she couldn't fit into her bras. That's impossible to the point of absurdity.

Here's the real truth, even if you were a world level competitive bodybuilder taking steroids and training like a wild man, you could only expect about 12 lbs of solid muscle to be added to the body in one year. And due to the cold hard fact of physiology, women are at a huge disadvantage in terms of adding muscle to their body due to lack of testosterone production. Period!

So, if your trainer is not able to tell you in specific terms why you as a female will not get too muscular from weight training you have a fake trainer on your hands.
